Solevoci Academy is a project which stems from the Solevoci Cultural Association. It aims at establishing an international a-cappella music centre based in Varese and devoted mainly to Pop and Jazz. The Academy addresses young people and children as well as all singers, choirs, vocal groups, conductors and organizations promoting vocal music.

Solevoci Academy wishes to create, promote and support activities such as:

v   Vocal music educational programs for elementary, primary and secondary schools, encouraging the foundation of school choirs

v   A-cappella related concerts, workshops and events

v   Publications of educational material (books, audioguides, etc.)

v   Primary school teacher training

v   Traning of choir conductors

v   Setting up an Italian national youth Pop and Jazz choir

v   Pop-Jazz youth and school choir festivals

v   A-cappella student grants

v   Setting up a European agency for Pop and Jazz choral singing
