International Academy for choral conductors
Varese 29 June - 3 July 2011
The academy is organised in cooperation with Feniarco, Swicco e Usci Lombardia, supported by Comune di Varese, Provincia di Varese and Regione Lombardia
We accept a maximum of 15 directors, based on their artistical and cultural resumé.
The choir lab on disposal throughout the academy will be the Feniarco Accademy Choir, held by M° Alessandro Cadario.
The repertory will be composed by international pop “acapella” songs, arranged for choir by contemporary composers. The teacher of the academy is Fred Sjöberg (Sweden)
You can take part as auditor with no limits of compliance.
Italian and international pop songs, composed by authors like Negramaro, F.Battiato, S.Bersani, Elisa, L.Kravitz, Rajaton, Queen,The Real Group, Roxette, S.Wonder and much more, will be performed.

21.00 opening concert with Feniarco accademy Choir conducted by
M° Alessandro Cadario and introduction of the course
Thursday 30th June, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July
From 10.00 am to 1,00 pm Practice lesson with choir conductors
From 3.00 p.m to 4,00 p.m Meeting
From 4.00 pm to 6,00 pm Lesson with choir conductors
Sunday, 3rd July 2011
From 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Rehersals
9.00 p.m.- Attending conductor concert and delivery of certificates.
Terms of application
To take part of the choral conductors academy, people concerned have to fill the application form.
The contribution of € 400,00 gives the possibility to take part to study activities and to half-board with 2 beds room for 4 days.
Auditor’s share € 280,00 (including overnight stay and half-board with 2 beds room for 4 days )
Single room extra charge € 70,00
